Born on 13 June 1963 in Kinshasa, Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo is a statesman of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), President of the Republic since 24 January 2019. Senior official of the UDPS (Union for Democracy and Social Progress), a party led by his father, the late Etienne TSHISEKEDI, he was elected national deputy in 2011.

  • The 5th President of the Democratic Republic of Congo

    On 30 December 2018, His Excellency Félix-Antoine Tshilombo was elected President of the Republic for a 5-year term. He becomes the 5th President of the Democratic Republic of Congo, thanks to the very first peaceful transfer of power in the largest country in Central Africa.

Judith Suminwa Tuluka (born 19 October 1967) is a Congolese politician who is serving as prime minister of the Democratic Republic of the Congo since 12 June 2024.

  • Appointment

    She was nominated for the position by President Félix Tshisekedi on 1 April 2024, the first woman in the post, and took office following the investiture of her government by the National Assembly.

    On 29 May 2024, Thérèse Kayikwamba Wagner was appointed Minister of State, Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Francophonie of the DRC in the Suminwa government, headed by Prime Minister Judith Suminwa Tuluka. Kayikwamba replaced Christophe Lutundula.

Mr. Tshibangu was appointed as Chargé d’Affaires of the Democratic Republic of Congo Mission to Kenya in 2024. He currently serves as the acting head of mission and brings with him extensive diplomatic experience and has served in various capacities within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs prior to his current posting.

    He officially assumed his duties as Chargé d’Affaires in June 2024 following appointment by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
